21 Best Cafes in Tel Aviv | Coffee Shops to Work From – Ultimate Guide

Tel Aviv is a coffee shop lover’s haven. Who doesn’t love the relaxing feeling of sitting down for a coffee with friends, pulling out a laptop, and getting some work down while sipping on a tasty drink? With a quaint, local café on almost every corner, Tel Aviv is a dream.

Since I started working as a freelancer, finding the best coffee shops has become almost a life goal. Personally, I tend to get a lot more done when I’m at a café. The busyness and the slight noise and the bustling streets keep me focused. And an iced coffee on a hot summer day in Tel Aviv? Couldn’t be any better. So here is my list of my favorite gems and go-to cafes to relax, work from, and enjoy. Oh and because it’s Tel Aviv (and everyone brings their dogs everywhere) all these cafes are dog friendly.

I’ve rated each one on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) in the categories of food, convenience to work from, and vibes.

1. Little Prince – King of Great Vibes

Perhaps my favorite coffee shop in all of Tel Aviv. It wins the award for best vibes and best place to work from. A cozy and quaint indoor area is lined from top to bottom with countless books, old and new, English, Hebrew, Russian. Piping hot coffee topped with a foam heart. The ideal location to spend a few hours working, chatting, or just relaxing. The outdoor area, built around a beautiful tall tree is also certainly not to be missed. Even more books line the outskirts as locals play games of sheshbesh (backgammon), shaded by the extensive foliage.

2. We Like You Too – Fun and Casual

Trying to get a coffee on a Friday morning at We Like You Too can be a daunting task. The line is almost always backed up with a least twenty people. But I can assure you that it’s worth it. A local hotspot, this kiosk has two locations on Tel Aviv’s popular, tree-lined boulevards – Sderot Ben Tsiyon and Sderot Ben Gurion. A few tables are offered for the coffee-goers, but you’ll be lucky if you can get one. Most people prefer to casually relax on one of the many benches nearby or borrow one of their blankets to have a cute picnic on the grass.
